CHRISTOPHER
TABOR
(Composer,
playwright)
began
his career composing and recording music and lyrics for radio and
television commercials in Montreal, Canada. Since then his music and
choreography have been performed by numerous artists and companies
internationally at venues from the U.S. to Taiwan, including Terrace
Theater in Long Beach, California, and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in
Los Angeles. In 1991 Chris received a special award from the Southern
California Partnership for the Arts for Outstanding Achievement in
Theater. Most recently Chris' work was produced on the campus of
Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania, where his music and
choreography for the ballet Two Views of Rain received popular
and critical acclaim. Parents is registered with the Library of
Congress under the pseudonym Cody N. Richardson in honor of his parents,
Cody and Richard Tabor. Chris is currently working on another musical
theater piece entitled My Name is Moon, which deals with the
subject of the Underground Railroad. |
